Side Detection System

    Hi Folks,
    My 2013 SRX side detection system has failed. They tell me it is on a module that would need replacement for $1000
    They say it failed cause it got wet and shorted out. I took the car thru the car wash that upgraded to more powerful jets.
    Has anyone had this issue? Did it ever dry out and work again?
