Or lack of them? I’m guessing the ELR and CT6-V guys will be in an even worse way.

Go look at copart and see the beautiful XLRs that show up for sale with only minor front end damage.

Hit one of your headlights? Totaled.

I have a question, does anyone think in 30 years the car shows will be rebuilding a “classic” Escalade?

GM is blowing it with Cadillac, they don’t want a brand, they want a quick sale before the buyer smartens up and switches to BMW or Mercedes.

    Sad.

Do you suppose GM would be embarrassed if I drove my headlightless XLR to Cobo when they announce the $140,000 Mid Engine Cadillac reminding people that in 10 years you won’t be able to buy repair parts no matter how rich you are for it? LOL

I had a 2008 XLR PLATINUM that GM quit make most parts for in 2012. The headlight assembly was not available at GM but there was ONE on Ebay, N.O.S. for $6,500. The writing was on the wall. I sold it in 2019 with 26,000 miles. A coup!e drove from KY to SC to buy it. I was happy to see it go. I will never buy a new GM product again. I bought a new 2019 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi and I love it. Every time I push the button to start it I smile when I hear it ROAR. I call it THE BEAST. I will be able to get any part I need for a long time. They made at least 80,000 Chargers a year so there are plenty of parts available. In 2019 the Charger was the best selling rear-drive sedan in the US with 128,273 units produced.
