ParticipantHad the same thing happen to mind about a week ago. Goggle the information on how to resolve the problem. You can do a Hard reset of the radio system to remedy the problem or there is another way to reset the system. Neither one worked for me and the answer was to take it to the dealer to replace the screen. This seems to be a common problem with the 2016 to 2019 ATS cue systems. Hope this info helps.

ParticipantHello, I would like to recommend searching some technical forums related to this issue. Or you can ask for a dealer consultation

ParticipantJust had my 3rd Cue system replaced. The last one froze up and would not reset per the instructions, so it was replaced at $1K+

ParticipantMy Cue 2nd system just went to a “spider” screen. Dealer wants $1,500.00 to fix. The screen is what is broken, not the actual system. Is it difficult for not handy person to DIY replacing screen with $120 screen replacement part?

ParticipantI’ve had some of these very same problems happen to my Cadillac ATS (2018). I noticed that my queue screen only freezes during really cold weather. I do park in the garage, but it shouldn’t do that regardless of the temperature. The screen is what operates everything in the car, climate control, the radio, etc. I need the screen to be able to operate regardless of the temperature. I bought the car from Carvana in 2021. I did get an extended warranty, and it’s through GM. So should I need to replace the screen, that will be done and covered under the warranty. My problem is, if I bring it to the dealership and it doesn’t act up at the dealership, they dismiss it and send me home, and then I’m right back to square one. Another thing that I find annoying is every time I bring it to the dealership, they want to slap it onto the computer, to the tune of $240 dollars. Mechanics nowadays don’t want to do anything without first putting it on the computer. So before I can even have my car looked at, I get soaked with a $240 dollar bill, which by the way, that’s not covered under my extended warranty.
