Annoying engine noise – (This is not the selectable “Engine Sound”) While lightly/moderately accelerating away from a stop there is a sound from the engine compartment in my 2023 CT5 550T PL RWD that can be best described as a drum roll. The sound sequence is always the same, drum roll – quiet – gear change, drum roll – quite – gear change up to 6th gear where the drum roll is barely noticeable. This noise is not there when the throttle is rolled out in neutral and not there at steady speeds. The noise seems to be coming from the intake manifold/system. Has anyone else noticed these engine noises?
