Had one of the early XT5 when it was redesigned from the SRX. The software for adaptive cruise, information control center and AFM worked great. Routinely got 28 to 33 mpg with the V6 and the adaptive cruise was smooth and responsive. Bought a 2024 because of discontinued production in 2025.
New one has adaptive cruise from Chevy, very cheap slow and jerky response. ICC is limited in available info and is same as all other GM vehicles. Finally only getting 22 – 23 mpg. While it was plenty of power, AFM never kicks except at low speeds (below 30) and transmission is hard downshift and upshift. Much worse and cheaper vehicle.
    Anyone else care to comment?
