Cadillac XT6-V

The Cadillac XT6-V is a rumor. A thing of fiction. A lie. No such vehicle is coming, or has ever been planned for production.

Not Planned

While the XT6-V has been rumored roughly since the vehicle’s introduction in 2019, such a model is not planned.

In October 2019, Cadillac Society exclusively reported that the luxury marque would not bring to market V-Series variants of the XT6 or its smaller sibling, the XT5.

Instead, the Cadillac XT6 will continue being offered with a choice of the following engines:

  • North America:
    • Naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque
    • Turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque
  • China
    • Turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine mated with a 48V mild-hybrid system, rated at 250 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque
