The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing was first seen in a teaser aired during the Rolex 24 At Daytona endurance race, and was officially unveiled on February 1st, 2021. The range-topping model is set to enter the market during the summer of 2021 as a 2022 model year vehicle.

To set the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing apart from its more pedestrian counterparts, the automaker incorporated a variety of exterior cues and aero upgrades. Up front, a pronounced lower lip section is attached to a reshaped bumper, which also features large side intakes. Available carbon fiber packages further improve the vehicle’s aerodynamics, and increase the CT4-V Blackwing’s aesthetics, at least to those who are fans of the lightweight material.
The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing also offers ten exterior color options as shown in the gallery below.
The 2022 CT4-V Blackwing also offers two optional carbon-fiber packages, dubbed Carbon Fiber 1 Package (CFZ Pkg) and Carbon Fiber 2 Package (CFV Pkg).
Carbon Fiber 1 Package – $4,100
Carbon Fiber 2 Package – $5,230
Those looking to order their very own Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing should be aware that the Carbon Fiber 2 Package cannot be ordered without the Carbon Fiber 1 Package, meaning that the total cost of the Carbon Fiber 2 Package is $9,330. While the carbon fiber components are often seen as a cosmetic enhancement, the performance aspect is arguably more important. According to Cadillac, the wind-tunnel-tested carbon fiber packages can reduce lift by 75 percent compared to the standard aero.
The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing features quite an array of standard technological features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability along with Surround Vision with recording, a head-up display with three display personas, and more.
The CT4-V Blackwing is also equipped with a standard AKG premium audio system, which features brushed aluminum grilles with laser etching, and Neodymium magnets to reduce weight while still producing a premium sound experience.
Another noteworthy highlight is the new configurable instrument cluster with a 12-inch-diagonal HD display. The cluster includes unique V-Series Blackwing graphics, and customizable performance settings such as a Track screen with performance timers for 0-60 mile per hour sprints, quarter-mile acceleration, lap times and more. The second-generation Performance Data Recorder is also available, and provides drivers with improved recording capabilities and new levels of driving analysis.
A ‘high-performance’ steering wheel is also available, and is included with either of the optional high-performance front seats. Compared to the standard steering wheel, the optional steering wheel is leather-bound instead of sueded microfiber and includes a V-Mode button, Performance Traction Management switch, carbon fiber trim, and VIN numbering.
From a mechanical standpoint, the CT4-V Blackwing is an indirect successor to the ATS-V Sedan.
