The Cadillac Society Take
Cadillac Canada sales kicked off the calendar year with strong growth during the first quarter, representing the third consecutive quarter of sales growth for Cadillac in Canada. In fact, the 4,881 new Cadillacs delivered in Q1 constitute the marque’s best-ever quarterly sales result in the Canadian market thanks to its new electric vehicle portfolio.
The vast majority of Cadillac models offered in Canada saw significant double- and triple-digit increases during the first quarter, with the sole exception of the Cadillac XT6. Among the key performers in Q1 was the Cadillac XT4, which regained its position as the marque’s best-selling model locally, while also being the only model in the portfolio to surpass 1,000 deliveries. Though discontinued in January, the small crossover grew in popularity thanks to the positive local reception of the refreshed model.
The strong growth in the Cadillac Lyriq is also noteworthy. The electric model remains Cadillac’s fastest-growing nameplate in Canada. But despite having the highest growth rate, the zero-emission crossover saw a noticeable decrease in volume during Q1 compared to previous quarters. For its part, the Cadillac Escalade performed strongly thanks to the launch of the refreshed 2025 model, while the all-new Cadillac Escalade IQ enjoyed its first quarter on sale, and the Cadillac Optiq recorded its first deliveries.
