The latest addition to Cadillac’s growing EV portfolio is the 2025 Cadillac Optiq, which slots below the Cadillac Lyriq in the lineup as a smaller and more affordable alternative for buyers in the market for a luxury EV. The Optiq has been announced for the Canadian market as well, and today, we break down what the electric luxury crossover will cost north of the U.S. border.

Interestingly, there is no pricing discrepancy between the Cadillac Optiq Luxury and Sport in Canada, even though the Sport is typically a bit pricier than its Luxury or Premium Luxury counterpart. The base Optiq Luxury 1 and Sport 1 trims each start at $63,298 CAD, while the Luxury 2 and Sport 2 trims are priced at $67,298 CAD. These prices include the $2,500 destination freight charge (DFC), the $100 A/C tax, and $699 dealer fee.

2025 Cadillac Optiq Starting MSRPs
Trim Level 2025 MSRP + DFC
Luxury 1 $63,298
Sport 1 $63,298
Luxury 2 $67,298
Sport 2 $67,298

At the time of this writing, the 2025 Cadillac Optiq is also eligible for a generous rebate toward the purchase or lease of a new EV in Canada. The federal government offers a $5,000 rebate, which may be combined with stackable rebates offered by certain Canadian provinces. Of course, it’s always advisable to check with your preferred dealer to find out what deals are available in your area.

It’s worth noting that while the trim level lineup and basic underpinnings of the 2025 Cadillac Optiq are the same for U.S. and Canadian spec models, the two differ in other ways. For example, the 19.2 kW AC charging module (production code K2O) is optional on the Luxury 1 and Sport 1 trims, but standard on the Luxury 2 and Sport 2 trims. For comparison, the 11.5 kW AC charging module (production code K28) is standard on all trims in the U.S., while the 19.2 kW module is an optional extra.

As a reminder, the U.S.-market 2025 Cadillac Optiq features a standard dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain delivering 300 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. From a full charge, the Optiq offers an estimated 300-mile driving range (482 km). Production for the North American market will take place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.
