While Cadillac doesn’t currently offer a convertible in its lineup, its history is full of lavish drop-tops that are now considered classics. For enthusiasts looking for a midcentury convertible to call their own, a 1953 Cadillac Series 62 convertible is now for grabs, and it’s fitted with some unique exterior accents that make it a head-turner on the road.

Listed on Bring a Trailer with no reserve, this 1953 Cadillac Series 62 is finished in white, but its bodylines are highlighted by pink accents that appear to be airbrushed onto the white paint. The pink accents are complimented by red pinstriping, a red boot top, and bold chrome bumpers and trim. It also features vertical tailfins that house the taillamps, a classic 1950s motif. The power-operated convertible top, meanwhile, is also finished in white.

The whole ensemble rides on 15-inch wire wheels wrapped in – what else – whitewall tires. It features two spare tires, one mounted in the painted hard cover out back and the other stored in the trunk compartment. Four-wheel drum brakes are fitted behind those wheels, and it does feature factory power steering.

Inside, this 1953 Cadillac Series 62 features red upholstery, power windows, a clock, heater, and pushbutton radio. Its two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110 mph speedometer. It has racked up approximately 29,000 miles in its lifetime, just 5,000 of which were added by the current owner.

Under the hood is Caddy’s 331 ci V8 engine, factory rated at 210 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque, routing power to the rear wheels by way of a four-speed automatic. It’s worth noting that the only mechanical modification is the addition of an air suspension system.

At the time of this writing, the high bid is $25,000, with the auction set to close on September 3rd, 2024.
