Cadillac hearses make the perfect ride for automobile enthusiasts with a penchant for the macabre, and one Connecticut-based dealership has more than enough to answer demand sitting on its lot right now. Parks Superior Sales in Somers, CT currently boasts over 70 Caddy hearses in inventory that are looking for their next homes, ranging from the DeVille luxury sedan to modern Cadillac XT5 and XT6 luxury crossovers stretched into unconventional rides.
Parks Superior’s website shows a wide range of Cadillac hearses that are currently available. The oldest is based on a 2001 Cadillac DeVille, featuring front-wheel-drive (FWD) and 4.6L V8 Northstar engine, which is priced at $14,990 – making it the most affordable option on the lot. But that’s only just the start. The dealership has a full lineup of Cadillac hearses from the 21st century, although there are quite a few based on the Cadillac DTS luxury sedan, the DeVille’s successor, all in excellent condition.
There are even a few Cadillac XTS-based hearses with relatively low mileage, and most feature chrome Landau bars affixed to their faux leather tops for that classic hearse look. These range from the 2014 through 2019 model years, and range in price from around $60,000 to almost $100,000 for low-mileage models.
For buyers in the market for something newer but just as grim and luxurious, there are quite a few Cadillac XT5 hearse models for sale, which Cadillac Society was the first to report on before the model’s introduction several years ago. Be prepared to shell out a pretty penny for some of these, such as one 2021 Cadillac XT5 hearse priced at $103,900. For context, that price point puts it right on par with the regular Cadillac Escalade.
Even newer, lower-mileage examples don’t even show a price online, but it’s likely that they’re priced at well over $100,000, depending on model. These luxury crossover hearses represent the newest models in Park Superior’s inventory, and there will likely be many more to come.

It seems to me that an electric vehicle would make a perfect hearse. Short trips, no stale gas and quiet and serine final trip.

It’s fascinating to see such a unique inventory! Having over 70 Cadillac hearses available is quite impressive and certainly caters to a niche market.
