Revealed in production form back in October 2022, the Cadillac Celestiq ultra-luxury electric sedan has been making the rounds out in public to drum up interest. Earlier this year, it was on display in New York outside the exclusive social club Zero Bond. It was here that pro tennis player Frances Tiafoe had the chance to get up close and personal with the vehicle.
Zero Bond often hosts high-caliber celebrities such as the Kardashians, Elon Musk, offering a private escape from the dullness of day-to-day life – and the public eye. The club is an official partner of Cadillac, and it served as the perfect backdrop for this particular outing, where Tiafoe was enjoying a cocktail party held for the occasion of the 2023 U.S. Open tennis championship.
This particular Cadillac Celestiq features a head-turning coat of Habanero paint, which is a striking red hue that complements the bright metal accents while accentuating its LED grille. Inside, the interior features blue upholstery, showing off the versatility of customization options for the handcrafted ultra-luxury EV.
In fact, there are endless customization options for the Cadillac Celestiq, meaning no two units will be the same. This includes over 200 named exterior color options, although its bespoke design process allows customers to provide a hue to be matched exactly. In order to achieve this level of detail, the Celestiq will be completely hand-built at the GM Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan.
In terms of power, the 2024 Cadillac Celestiq features a 111 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor propulsion system, enabling all-wheel-drive grip. Cadillac estimates that this setup will be good for approximately 300 miles of driving range on a single charge, while providing an incredible 600 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. All that power and customizability comes at a price, as the Celestiq will start at a cool $340,000.
