2023 Cadillac CT4 Loses These Five Paint Colors

The 2023 Cadillac CT4 loses five paint colors previously offered on 2022 model year vehicles, while three new exterior colors will be added as indirect replacements, Cadillac Society has learned.

The following five exterior paint colors will not be made available for the 2023 Cadillac CT4 (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

  • Diamond Sky Metallic (G9F)
  • Satin Steel Metallic (G9K)
  • Shadow Metallic (GJI)
  • Garnet Metallic (GLR)
  • Infrared Tintcoat (GSK)

Garnet Metallic was only offered on the Luxury and Premium luxury trim levels for the Cadillac CT4, while Diamond Sky Metallic was exclusive to Diamond Sky Special Edition Package on the Premium Luxury trim. Satin Steel Metallic, Shadow Metallic and Infrared Tintcoat were offered on Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels.

Meanwhile, the following three exterior paint colors indirectly replace the aforementioned colors and will be available on the 2023 Cadillac CT4 for an additional charge (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)
  • Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
  • Midnight Steel Metallic (GXU)

As a reminder, the base engine in the Cadillac CT4 350T is the turbocharged 2.0L I4 (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This boosted four-cylinder is standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. Meanwhile, the turbocharged 2.7L I4 (production code L3B) is optional on the CT4 Premium Luxury, rated at 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. This model can be identified by the 500T badge on the decklid. All aforementioned CT4 trims are offered in either rear- or all-wheel drive, and feature the luxury marque’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
