The 2023 Cadillac XT4 will represent the fifth model year of the small luxury crossover, and it will bring minor changes – including the deletion of three exterior colors.
Three paint colors previously offered for the 2022 model year will no longer be available for 2023 , while two new color options will be offered.
The following three paint colors are being dropped from the Cadillac XT4 after the 2022 model year (relevant paint codes in parentheses):
All of the aforementioned exterior paint colors could be equipped on any Cadillac XT4 trim level for the 2022 model year when they were available. Twilight Blue Metallic was a premium option that cost an extra $624, while Infrared Tintcoat added $1,225 to the price of the luxury crossover. Radiant Silver Metallic was offered at no extra charge. Both Twilight Blue Metallic and Radiant Silver Metallic could be paired with any of the six interior colorways offered for the XT4. Infrared Tintcoat could be equipped alongside the Jet Black interior, Light Platinum/Jet Black, and Light Wheat/Jet Black with Red Accents. However, the Infrared Tintcoat exterior color could not be added in conjunction with the Sedona/Jet Black interior.
Meanwhile, two new exterior paint colors will be available for the 2023 Cadillac XT4:
Radiant Red Tintcoat is available for an additional charge, while Argent Silver Metallic is included in the cost of the vehicle.
As a reminder, the first-generation Cadillac XT4 is due for a mid-cycle refresh. Initially scheduled for the 2022 model year, the refresh was pushed back to the 2024 model year due to setbacks stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2019 thru 2023 Cadillac XT4 features one drivetrain option in North America – the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It bolts to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Production takes place at the Cadillac Fairfax Plant in Kansas.
