Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury: Complete Photo Gallery

The Cadillac CT5 is the brand’s latest D-segment sedan, first dropping in last year at the New York International Auto Show. Per Cadillac’s new Y trim level strategy, the CT5 is offered in the base-level Luxury, followed by the performance-flavored Sport and even-more-opulent Premium Luxury. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the latter in the following Cadillac Society Complete Photo Gallery.

This is the first time we’ve received high-quality pictures of the Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury on the road, as provided by the automaker. Indeed, this glossy CT5 comes with a variety of interesting details to help set it apart, so let’s dive right in.

Up front, the Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury gets bright treatments for the grille, including a Galvano surround for the lower section of the grille. This stands in contrast to the black mesh grille found on the CT5 Sport and CT5-V.

Additional Galvano trim bits can be found in window moldings. Once again, this helps the Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury stand out from the Sport and CT5-V, both of which come equipped with black moldings.

Interestingly, the Premium Luxury is unique for its door handles, which come with a body-colored treatment and illuminating feature as standard. The sedan also comes with 18-inch wheels as standard, while 19-inchers are optional.

The rear of the vehicle is highlighted by LED tail lamps with a red outer housing lens, unlike the neutral-density (a.k.a. clear) gray-tinted lenses seen on the Sport. Just below the tail lamps, the Premium Luxury comes with a new lower valence and dual exhaust pipes.

This particular model is the 550T, which means it’s equipped with the optional twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 (production code LGY) engine, which is also equipped in the CT5-V. However, in the CT5 Premium Luxury, the ‘six is tuned to produce 335 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, whereas the CT5-V makes 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque.

The Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury is on sale at dealers now.
