2019 Cadillac ATS-V Pedestal Edition
As we reported this summer, the Cadillac ATS was officially discontinued for the 2019 model year, marking the termination of a production run that first launched in 2012. Now, Cadillac Society has unearthed details on the last example of the Cadillac ATS-V, the hot-to-trot performance version of the D-segment luxury sled.
Rolling off the assembly line in December of 2018, the final Cadillac ATS-V is a coupe model finished in a head-turning shade dubbed Zeus Bronze, which covers the shapely two-door body style head to toe. For reference, the ATS sedan met its end a year prior.
What’s more, the last ATS-V produced is one of just 300 Pedestal Edition models, Cadillac’s sendoff for the third-generation V-Series vehicles. To note, Caddy also offered the Pedestal Edition outfit with the 2019 Cadillac CTS-V sedan. As for the Cadillac ATS-V Pedestal Edition models, equipment upgrades include the following goodies (production codes marked in parenthesis):
Meanwhile, back in July, the final ATS Coupe (non-V-Series model) rolled off the line at the production facility in Lansing Grand River finished in Silver Ice Metallic.
During its tenure as the range-topping performance option in the ATS lineup, the Cadillac ATS-V was equipped with the twin-turbo 3.6L V6 (production code LF4), which doled out upwards of 464 horsepower and 444 pound-feet of torque.
The Cadillac ATS-V will be indirectly replaced by the upcoming Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, with the CT5 taking a spot on the high end and the CT4 taking a spot on the low end.
