Were you able to get this repaired? I just had the same issue and Module Master in Mosco, Idaho repaired mine at a fair price. The only down side, you or your mechanic need to remove the part and ship it to them for repair. They have a 5 -7 day turn around time and with shipping you will be without a vehicle for about two weeks.
It was well worth it for me because no one would guarantee a used module would work or be able to be reprogrammed properly.
