Changed mine myself, very simple but a little challenging to get to. Been about 2 years now and still no problems of any kind. Best upgrade I have done in that area.
I changed out the Halogen bulbs to Leds on my 2017 XT5 and love it as well as no problems, been almost a year now, one of my best upgrades ive done.
