Originally GM promised the Debut Edition of the Lyriq for the first half of 2022, i.e. by June 30, Now they say it will be delivered in summer. Traditionally summer is considered finished by Labor Day, September 5, 67 days into the second half of 2022, though astronomers define summer as ending at the autumnal equinox, September 25, the 87th day of the second half. Which definition is GM using?

Summer ends in September. But Cadillac has already delivered Lyriq vehicles to the first buyers, so they fulfilled their promise. And the reservations for the 2024 model year are still open.

When will non-debut deliveries be gin?

Summer to Cadillac means 2023! If you think 6 months is a long time to wait for new CT5, just wait 12 months for a Debut Lyriq and get Nothing. GM Financial is waiting yet another month for the Feds to raise interest rates in September to raise your payments $100 a month higher than they would have been back in the first quarter of 2022! Good luck 👍🏻
