How do you play your iPod in a 2021 Escalade

I took delivery of a 2021 Escalade Sport about a week ago. When I select “audio” from the Home Screen there is no option to select the USB input to play my iPod. According to the manual that should be one of the inputs that you can choose as an audio source. Anybody else having this problem?

I am having the same problem it will not detect my ipod…did you find a solution?

According to my local Cadillac dealers’ service department the 2021 Escalade’s infotainment system was not designed to recognize iPods. It does recognize my iPad and I can play music through the system using this. I complained to Cadillac about this but so far have not heard back from them. I guess we’re out of luck.

Thanks for the info… I am going purchase a ipod nano 7th generation, it has bluetooth, maybe I can connect via bluetooth…I will let ya know…

I purchased a 7th generation Ipod Nano, it has Bluetooth, it connected to my 2021 Escalade via Bluetooth the sound is amazing! Works great!
