Folks, production of the CT6 will continue. Cadillac President Steve Carlisle (along with his boss, GM President Mark Reuss), confirmed that in the recent months. It seems that plans are being made to move production of the CT6 outside the Detroit-Hamtramck plant to a different plant, most likely Lansing Grand River (where the ATS, CTS, CT4, and CT5 are made).

All in, rumors of the death of the CT6 are untrue, though said rumors are Cadillac’s own fault since it grossly mishandled communicating its plans about the future of the vehicle.
