I have a 2013 Cadillac SRX that I have owned now for approximately 6 years. It’s been a great car however now that the headlights issue has persisted, it’s dangerous to drive at night. I had to teach my daughter how to drive in my car and couldn’t take her out at night to learn because you literally cannot see to drive. I have to turn the high beams on to see anything. Without the high beams on, it’s almost like the lights aren’t on at all. Cadillac needs to not just recall the lights, the need to do what any other manufacturer would do and redesign the lights with modern light systems, do a formal recall, and replace the part for free at any dealer. We also own a GMC and all of their recalls have been quick, with letters, new parts to resolve the issues, and for free. I’ll not be buying another Cadillac until they learn to put safety and customer service first. You would expect that from any premium brand which apparently Cadillac is not anymore. I’ll also be posting this wherever I can to let others know not to purchase a Cadillac versus other brands.
