2000 sts transmission fluid issue

Hey all, i have a 2000 sts and my transmission fluid seems to be aerated and running out the fill hole when i tried to check levels. I know overfilling will cause aeration, so i’m assuming it is overfilled, but am curious if there might be any other issues i should look for?
