A little while back, Cadillac Live and one of its specially trained agents, Zane, showed us around the new 2020 Cadillac CT4 sedan. Now the good folks over at Cadillac Live have decided to give us an in-depth tour of the CT4’s bigger brother – the Cadillac CT5.
The Cadillac CT5 model shown in this video is a Premium Luxury trim model with the available Platinum Package. The vehicle is painted Crystal White Tricoat, a $1,225 option, and features the Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black Accents semi-aniline leather interior and carbon fiber trim. It also is wearing the optional 19-inch Diamond Cut alloy wheels with Midnight Silver pockets.
This particular model is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine (production code LSY), which produces 237 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. The four-cylinder is mated to Cadillac’s 10-speed automatic transmission (production code MHS).
For readers who may not know, Cadillac Live is a video chat service that mimics the experience of visiting a real dealership showroom online. Users can book a session with a representative like Zane and have the rep show them the latest Cadillac products, demonstrate their features and answer any questions they may have. Cadillac Live first underwent a trial period north of the border in Canada before the automaker decided to launch the service officially in the United States.
While this video gives us an idea of how a real Cadillac Live session goes, they are actually much more in-depth than this, as the customer is able to ask questions about the car. Brand reps are equipped with a headset mic and phone gimbal, allowing them to easily respond to the questions and give the viewer a close-up look of the vehicle and its features.
